These gloves feature a combination of specialized grip material and breathable mesh, making them an ideal choice for riders looking for flexibility and comfort during long training sessions or casual hacks. FAQs

Are these gloves suitable for competitive showing?

Yes, their clean design makes them appropriate for many riding disciplines, though you should check your specific competition rules.

Can I use these gloves with a touchscreen?

While they are not explicitly marketed as touchscreen-compatible, the lightweight material may allow for basic touch operations.

How should I store them?

Store in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight to prevent the polyester mesh from fading or degrading.

Do they provide protection against thorns?

The mesh is designed for breathability and is not puncture-resistant, so they are not recommended for hacking through dense brush.

Are these gloves unisex?

Yes, many of the variants are designed as unisex to ensure a wide range of fit options for all riders.

Troubleshooting

Grip material feels slippery

The gloves likely have a buildup of stable dust or grooming oils. Wash the gloves at 30 degrees to restore the traction.

Gloves feel tight in the fingers

Polyester has some give, but if they cause numbness, you should size up to ensure proper circulation.

Pros and Cons

Setup, Compatibility & Care

To ensure the best performance from your HKM gloves, it is important to select the correct size by measuring your palm width and finger length. These gloves are compatible with most standard reins, but the grip material performs best when kept free of excessive dust and hair.

Care Instructions:

  1. Shake off excess dirt or hair after use.
  2. Machine wash at a maximum of 30 degrees Celsius.
  3. Do not bleach or tumble dry to preserve the integrity of the grip material.
  4. Air dry naturally away from direct heat sources to prevent material shrinkage.
