The Saucony Paramount Max is a premium neutral trainer designed for adult runners who prioritize maximum cushioning and energy return during high-mileage road sessions. While the proprietary incrediRUN foam provides an exceptionally soft and dynamic ride, its high-stack geometry may feel less stable for those accustomed to low-profile, minimalist footwear.

Yes, the Paramount Max is specifically designed as a neutral trainer, providing a balanced, cushioned ride for runners without severe overpronation.
The shoe weighs 302 grams (10.6 oz) and features a 6 mm heel-to-toe drop.
No, these are engineered specifically for road surfaces. The high-stack foam is not designed for the instability and obstacles found on trails.
The Saucony Paramount Max follows standard adult sizing. It is recommended to choose your usual running shoe size, ensuring adequate room for foot swelling during long runs.
The Paramount Max utilizes Saucony's proprietary incrediRUN foam, designed for maximum energy return and comfort.
Ensure laces are secured using the heel-lock method to minimize internal foot slippage due to the high-stack foam height.
Allow the incrediRUN foam to recover by rotating your trainers, giving the midsole at least 24 hours to rebound between uses.
To ensure the longevity of your Paramount Max trainers, start by confirming the correct fit; ensure there is a thumb-width of space between your longest toe and the front of the shoe. Because these are specialized road trainers, avoid using them for lateral-movement sports like tennis or court activities. For cleaning, use a damp cloth and mild soap; avoid submerging the shoes in water or using a washing machine, as high heat and detergent can break down the foam integrity. Allow them to air dry in a well-ventilated area away from direct sunlight or artificial heat sources.
