The TOG24 Keld Softshell Jacket in Green is designed for adult females seeking a versatile, water-resistant, and windproof outer layer for active use. Its key benefit is providing reliable protection against light showers and wind while maintaining comfort through its snug microfleece lining. A potential caveat is its primary function as a barrier against elements, rather than a heavily insulated jacket for extreme cold. This softshell jacket is constructed from 96% Polyester and 4% Elastane, offering a balance of durability and flexibility.

The Keld Softshell Jacket is water-resistant, designed to handle light showers. For prolonged or heavy rainfall, a fully waterproof jacket would be more appropriate.
The jacket provides a comfortable level of warmth with its microfleece lining, suitable for cool conditions. For very cold weather, it is best worn as part of a layering system with additional insulating garments underneath.
Machine wash at 30°C with similar colours. Avoid bleach and do not dry clean. Tumble dry on low heat and iron on a cool setting. Fasten zips and buttons before washing.
The jacket is made from 96% Polyester and 4% Elastane.
The hood is adjustable, providing extra coverage. While it offers good protection against wind and light rain, it is not designed to be a substitute for a waterproof hood in heavy downpours.
The softshell material offers a degree of breathability, helping to manage moisture during activity. However, it is less breathable than specialized waterproof-breathable membranes.
Ensure the DWR (Durable Water Repellent) finish has not worn off. Reapply a DWR treatment designed for softshell fabrics if needed. Check that all zippers are fully closed.
Apply a small amount of graphite (from a pencil tip) or a silicone-based lubricant to the zipper teeth. Gently work the zipper up and down to free it.
This can be normal due to perspiration. Ensure the jacket is properly aired out after use. For prolonged high-exertion activities, consider a more breathable technical shell.
Setup: This jacket requires no setup. It is ready to wear out of the packaging.
Compatibility: Designed for adult females. Available in various sizes (e.g., UK 8, UK 10, UK 22). The jacket is intended for outdoor use and is compatible with casual and athletic wear.
