FAQs
Are these shoes true to size?
Yes, they generally follow standard UK sizing for adult trainers.
Can these be washed in a machine?
No, machine washing can damage the suede material and adhesive. Always spot clean by hand.
Is the material waterproof?
No, the suede upper is not waterproof. It is recommended to use a suede-safe protective spray before the first wear.
What is the primary material used?
The upper is constructed from high-quality suede, and the outsole is made of durable rubber.
Are these suitable for wide feet?
The Handball Spezial has a standard fit. If you have particularly wide feet, you may find them slightly snug initially, but the suede will soften.
Troubleshooting
Scuffs on the suede upper
Use a suede eraser or a soft-bristled suede brush to gently lift the nap and remove surface marks.
Dirt on the gum sole
Wipe the gum sole with a damp cloth or a mild soapy solution and a soft brush to restore its clean appearance.
Shoe feels slightly tight
Suede will naturally stretch slightly over time with consistent wear; avoid wearing very thick socks during the break-in period.

Setup, Compatibility & Care
Because these trainers are crafted from suede, proper care is essential to maintain their appearance. Use a suede-specific brush to remove loose dirt and dust after each wear. Avoid exposing the shoes to heavy rain or mud, as suede can be difficult to clean once saturated. If the shoes get wet, stuff them with paper to maintain their shape and allow them to air dry away from direct heat sources. When styling, they pair best with neutral tones given their beige and white color palette.
