FAQs

Is this sweater true to size?

Yes, it follows standard sizing, though the cut is designed to be slightly tailored.

Can this be worn over a t-shirt?

Absolutely, the soft brushed interior makes it very comfortable for layering over a light t-shirt.

Does the fabric pill easily?

With proper machine washing on a gentle cycle, the material is designed to resist pilling.

Is the logo embroidered or printed?

The iconic Pony logo is multicoloured embroidery.

What is the primary material?

It is made from 100% cotton that has been peached and brushed for softness.

Can I tumble dry this item?

We recommend air drying to preserve the shape and size, but if you must tumble dry, use the lowest heat setting.

Troubleshooting

Visible lint or dust on the black fabric

Use a lint roller or a fabric-safe garment brush to gently remove debris.

Zipper feels slightly stiff

Apply a tiny amount of graphite from a pencil to the zipper teeth to help the slider glide more smoothly.

Pros and Cons

Pros

Exceptionally soft material due to the brushed cotton finish
Versatile design suitable for layering over shirts or under jackets
High-quality construction consistent with Polo Ralph Lauren standards
Adjustable mockneck collar provides flexibility in various temperatures

Cons

Cotton material may require careful laundering to prevent shrinkage
The fit may run slim for some users compared to athletic-cut sweaters
Black fabric requires consistent care to maintain deep colour intensity

Setup, Compatibility & Care

To ensure the longevity of your garment, follow these care guidelines:

Washing: Machine wash cold on a gentle cycle with like colours to avoid fabric degradation.
Drying: Air dry whenever possible; avoid high-heat tumble drying to prevent shrinking the cotton fibers.
Ironing: Use a low-heat setting if touch-ups are needed, ensuring the iron does not come into direct contact with the embroidered logo.
Storage: Fold the sweater to store rather than hanging, as long-term hanging can cause the shoulder seams to stretch out over time.
