The Mountain Warehouse Raptor Snow Ski Jacket is a durable, weather-resistant outer layer designed for young children participating in winter sports or outdoor play. Providing excellent warmth through its fleece-lined interior and a snowproof exterior, it is an ideal choice for snowy climates; however, parents should note it is designed specifically for moderate snow exposure rather than extreme mountaineering conditions.

It is snowproof with a DWR finish, which makes it resistant to snow and light rain, but it is not intended for heavy, continuous downpours.
No, the hood is a grown-on design, meaning it is permanently attached to the jacket.
Machine wash on a cool, gentle cycle with mild detergent and hang to dry.
Yes, the fleece lining provides significant warmth, though we recommend layering with thermal clothing underneath for sub-zero temperatures.
The jacket features two external side pockets and one external sleeve pocket, but no internal pockets.
Check the track for any trapped fabric or ice buildup; gently clear the area and ensure the zipper pull is held straight during operation.
The DWR finish may wear off over time; consider using a technical garment re-proofing spray designed for synthetic outdoor gear after a thorough wash.
To keep the Raptor Snow Ski Jacket in top condition, machine wash it on a gentle cycle using mild detergent. Avoid fabric softeners, as these can strip the DWR water-repellent coating. After washing, air drying is recommended to maintain the integrity of the fleece lining and synthetic outer shell. When fitting the jacket, ensure the touch-fastening cuffs are tightened over the child's gloves to create a proper seal, preventing snow from getting inside the sleeves during play.
