FAQs

Are these shoes suitable for running?

Yes, they feature GEL cushioning specifically designed to absorb impact during running and active play.

Do they provide good arch support?

The integrated TRUSSTIC system provides structural support and stability, which is beneficial for active children.

Can I wash these in the washing machine?

No, machine washing can damage the materials and cushioning technology. Stick to hand cleaning with a damp cloth.

Are these unisex?

Yes, the GEL-1130 design is suitable for all children regardless of gender.

How should I determine the correct size?

Ensure there is about a half-inch of space between the longest toe and the end of the shoe to allow for growth and movement.

Troubleshooting

Laces constantly coming untied

Ensure you are using a double knot or look for replacement laces with a textured grip.

Foot feels too tight

Loosen the laces starting from the bottom eyelets and re-thread to allow for more volume.

Excessive dirt build-up on mesh

Use a soft toothbrush to gently clear debris from the mesh pores.

Pros and Cons

Pros

Excellent shock absorption for active play
Stable foundation for developing arches
Breathable materials prevent overheating
Stylish retro aesthetic
Durable construction for long-term wear

Cons

Lace-up design may be difficult for young children
Not intended for extreme outdoor hiking
Light-colored models may show dirt easily

Setup, Compatibility & Care

To ensure the best experience, start by adjusting the laces to match the volume of the child's foot. The laces should be snug but not restrictive, ensuring the midfoot is supported without impeding circulation.

Care Instructions:

Wipe off loose dirt after use with a soft-bristle brush.
Clean stains using a damp cloth with mild soap.
Air dry at room temperature away from direct heat sources, such as radiators, which can warp the materials.
Do not machine wash, as this can degrade the integrity of the foam cushioning and adhesives.
