FAQs
Are these trainers suitable for running marathons?
The Skechers Arch Comfrt trainers are designed for comfort and support during casual wear and light activities. They are not specifically engineered for high-impact or long-distance running and may not provide the necessary support or cushioning for such events.
How do I know if I have the right size?
Ensure there is a little space at the front of the shoe (about a thumb's width) and that your heel does not slip when you walk. The fit should be snug but not tight.
Can I machine wash these trainers?
It is not recommended to machine wash these trainers as it can damage the materials and construction. Hand clean with a damp cloth and mild soap if necessary.
What makes the 'Arch Comfrt' series different?
The Arch Comfrt series specifically features enhanced cushioning and contoured support designed to provide superior arch support, reducing foot fatigue during extended wear compared to standard trainers.
Are these trainers waterproof?
These trainers are not designed to be waterproof. They offer protection against light moisture but are not suitable for prolonged exposure to wet conditions.
How long does the arch support typically last?
The durability of the arch support depends on usage frequency and intensity. With proper care and for intended casual use, the supportive features should last for a significant period of regular wear.
Troubleshooting
Arch feels too high or uncomfortable
Allow a break-in period of a few wears. If discomfort persists, consider using thinner insoles or consult with a footwear specialist.
Slightly tight fit
Wear with thinner socks initially. The material may stretch slightly with wear. If significantly tight, consider if a larger size is needed.
Discoloration of material
Avoid prolonged exposure to direct sunlight or harsh cleaning agents. Clean gently with a damp cloth as per care instructions.
