The ARMA OXI-ZONE Fetlock Boots are designed for performance-focused equestrians who prioritize horse leg health through advanced temperature regulation and impact protection. These boots provide a significant win for horses prone to overheating during intense training by utilizing 360-degree ventilation and moisture-wicking fabrics; however, they require careful adjustment of the pin-fastening straps to ensure a snug, secure fit without overtightening.

These are primarily designed as performance boots for exercise. For long-term turnout, we recommend boots designed specifically for all-day field wear.
Gently brush the mesh with a soft-bristled brush to dislodge any grit or dirt after rinsing with water.
The materials are designed for low water absorption, but they are not fully waterproof, which allows them to remain breathable.
Measure the circumference of your horse's fetlock and refer to the brand sizing guide. These are available in standard and Extra Full sizes.
Yes, each set includes two boots, typically used for the hind legs.
Hand-washing is recommended to protect the integrity of the TPU shell and the metal mesh lining.
Check the tension of the elasticated straps; you may need to adjust the pin position to a tighter hole setting.
Ensure the straps are fastened snugly to minimize the gap at the top and bottom of the boot, and check that the mesh lining is free from obstructions.
Wash the straps in warm water to remove dried mud or sweat residue, which can cause the elastic to feel stiff.
To achieve the best fit, ensure the boot is placed on the lower leg with the strike plate positioned over the inside of the fetlock. Secure the elasticated straps using the adjustable pin fastening, ensuring there is enough tension to prevent the boot from rotating, but not so much that it constricts the limb.
For care, hand-wash the boots in cool water using a mild, non-biological soap. Because of the perforated TPG foam and moisture-wicking properties, the boots dry significantly faster than neoprene. Always check the metal mesh for trapped debris after each ride and shake out the boots thoroughly before storage to prolong the life of the materials.
