The New Balance 1906 trainers are ideal for kids who want a blend of throwback 2000s runner aesthetics and modern daily comfort. These trainers provide excellent support for active children, though the specific grey colorway requires careful maintenance to keep the light fabric looking clean during heavy outdoor play.

The New Balance 1906 series has a standard fit; if your child has significantly wider feet, you may consider trying a half-size up or trying them on to ensure a comfortable feel.
These are designed as lifestyle trainers, suitable for casual play and daily activities, but they are not specifically engineered for high-performance competitive sports.
We recommend measuring the child's foot in centimeters or inches and referring to a standard UK kids' size chart to find the best match for the UK 5.5 size.
No, these trainers are made with fabric elements for breathability and are not waterproof.
Store them in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight, which can cause the materials and colors to fade over time.
Gently spot clean with a soft brush and a mixture of mild soap and lukewarm water, then air dry.
Ensure the laces are tightened properly and double-knotted to keep them secure during high-energy play.
Remove the insoles to air out the shoes after use and use a sneaker-safe deodorizing spray if necessary.
To keep your New Balance 1906 trainers in top condition, ensure you select the correct UK size for a secure fit, as the 1906 series typically aligns with standard athletic sizing. For care, avoid machine washing these shoes, as it can compromise the materials. Instead, use a soft-bristled brush to remove loose dirt from the surface. For deeper cleaning, gently wipe the upper with a cloth dampened with a mild detergent and water solution, then allow them to air dry away from direct heat sources to maintain the integrity of the foam and fabric.
