The Nike ACG Pegasus Trail is designed for adult male runners seeking enhanced performance and stability on diverse trail terrains. Its key benefit is improved traction and comfort, even on challenging surfaces, with a caveat that the fit may be wider than some traditional trainers. This iteration features an updated All Terrain Compound (ATC) rubber outsole for superior grip, more ReactX foam for better cushioning and energy return, and an enhanced toe box and forefoot for increased comfort and stability. The lightweight, durable engineered mesh upper ensures breathability on every adventure.

The Nike ACG Pegasus Trail is optimized for varied trail terrains, including rock, mud, gravel, and tree roots, thanks to its advanced ATC outsole.
This version features an increased amount of ReactX foam in the midsole, providing more responsive cushioning and improved energy return compared to older models.
The shoe offers more room in the toe box and forefoot, which can be beneficial for runners whose feet swell during long runs or those who prefer a slightly wider fit. However, it is not specifically designed as a 'wide' shoe.
While they can handle short road sections, their design and outsole are primarily optimized for off-road trail running. Performance may not be ideal for dedicated road running.
Use a soft brush to remove dry dirt. For tougher grime, use a damp cloth with mild soap and cool water. Always air dry them away from direct heat.
The heel offset is 8mm, providing a balanced feel suitable for various running styles.
ACG stands for 'All Conditions Gear,' indicating the shoe's design for versatility across different environmental conditions.
This is often due to foot swelling during longer runs. The added room in the toe box and forefoot of this model is designed to accommodate this. Ensure you have the correct size and consider lacing techniques that provide more volume if needed.
While the ATC outsole offers improved traction, extreme conditions can challenge any shoe. Ensure the outsole is free from packed mud or debris. For exceptionally slick conditions, consider slowing your pace or using additional caution.
The engineered mesh is designed to be lightweight and breathable. Avoid abrasive contact with sharp objects on the trail. Regular cleaning can help maintain the integrity of the mesh.
Setup: These trainers are ready to wear straight out of the box. Ensure you have the correct size for optimal performance and comfort. We recommend trying them on at the end of the day when your feet are naturally at their largest.
Compatibility: The Nike ACG Pegasus Trail is designed for trail running and is compatible with most running socks. It is not designed for highly technical scrambling or extreme mountaineering.
