The Skechers Escapeplan hiking shoes are best suited for day hikes and moderate trails. For very long-distance or backpacking trips, consider shoes with more advanced support and cushioning systems.
Use a soft brush to remove loose dirt. For stains, a damp cloth with mild soap is recommended. Always air dry away from heat.
The product description does not specify waterproofing. They are designed for general outdoor use and may offer some resistance to light moisture, but are not fully waterproof.
No, machine washing is not recommended as it can damage the shoe's structure and materials. Hand clean and air dry only.
This specific guide is for UK size 3.5. Other sizes and colors, including blue variants, are available for the Skechers Escapeplan series.
The durability of the traction depends on the terrain used and the frequency of wear. Regular cleaning and avoiding excessive abrasion will help maintain outsole grip.
This is common for new shoes. Wear them for short periods around the house to break them in. Consider using thicker socks if needed.
Ensure the outsole is clean and free of mud or debris. While designed for grip, performance on extremely wet, slick surfaces may vary.
Adjust the lacing to achieve a more secure fit. If the shoe remains too loose, consider using insoles for a snugger feel.
These hiking shoes are ready to wear out of the box. For optimal fit and comfort, it is recommended to wear them for short walks initially to allow them to conform to your feet.
