Full details

A classic 1930s design, the VL38 floor light is as relevant and beautiful as ever. Originally made for the Danish Radiohuset building, the design was updated in 2016 to accommodate modern advances in lighting technology. Now fitted with an energy-conscious and efficient LED, the VL38 will provide your space with optimal illumination. Available in black or white, its timeless design will suit a range of interiors. Designed by Vilhelm Lauritzen. Manufactured by Louis Poulsen. Ex-display items have some signs of use, and we recommend a detailed condition report prior to purchase. Please call 0121 212 0387 or email enquiries@minimauk.com for further details. This item is a one-off ex-display item to be sold on a first-order, first-served basis. Architect Vilhelm Lauritzen originally designed the VL38 light for the Danish broadcasting company’s headquarters building in Copenhagen, known as the Radiohuset (now home to the Royal Danish Academy of Music). This simple, functional and elegant design was originally produced by Louis Poulsen and has now been reissued to Lauritzen’s design specification, in its original form. Sold as seen. Some wear but still in great condition.
