Setup, Compatibility & Care
When you first receive your loafers, ensure you try them on while wearing the type of socks you intend to use most frequently to gauge the correct fit. To maintain the integrity of the leather:
- Cleaning: Wipe the surface gently with a soft, dry cloth to remove dust and debris.
- Conditioning: Use a high-quality leather conditioner periodically to prevent the material from cracking or drying out.
- Storage: Store the shoes in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight, preferably using shoe trees to maintain their original shape.
- Protection: Consider applying a leather-safe water repellent spray if you anticipate walking in inclement weather, though leather-soled shoes should ideally be kept dry.
