FAQs

What is Supima cotton?

Supima cotton is a superior type of cotton grown in the USA. It has extra-long fibers that make it softer, stronger, and more durable than other cottons.

What is Hygro technology?

Hygro technology involves spinning each cotton yarn with a hollow core, which enhances the towel's fluffiness and absorbency, and allows it to dry quicker.

How do I wash these towels?

Machine wash with similar colors at a moderate temperature. Avoid bleach and fabric softeners. Tumble dry on a low setting or hang to dry.

Can I use fabric softener?

It is not recommended to use fabric softener, as it can reduce the towel's absorbency.

What sizes are available?

The Christy Supreme Hygro towel range is available in face cloths, hand towels, bath towels, and bath sheets. A towelling rug is also available.

What does MADE IN GREEN certified mean?

MADE IN GREEN by OEKO-TEX is a product label that certifies the product has been tested for harmful substances and has been manufactured in an environmentally friendly and socially responsible way.

How should I store these towels?

Store them in a dry, well-ventilated area to prevent mildew and maintain their quality.

Troubleshooting

Towel feels less absorbent after washing.

Avoid using fabric softener, as it coats the fibers and reduces absorbency. Try washing the towels with a cup of white vinegar to remove any residue.

Towel sheds lint.

Wash the towels separately from other items for the first few washes. Tumble dry on a low setting, and clean your lint filter frequently.

Pros and Cons

Highly absorbent, drying you quickly.
Durable and long-lasting with proper care.
Available in a range of sizes to suit different needs.
Sustainably made and OEKO-TEX certified.

Cons

Requires specific care instructions to maintain quality.
May be more expensive than standard towels.

Setup, Compatibility & Care

These towels require no specific setup. Simply wash before first use to enhance absorbency.

Compatibility:

These towels are compatible with all standard bathrooms and washing machines.

Care Instructions:

Washing: Machine wash the towels at a moderate temperature. Avoid using bleach or fabric softeners, as these can reduce absorbency and damage the fibers.
Drying: Tumble dry on a low setting or hang to dry. Over-drying can make the towels less soft.
Maintenance: Wash dark colors separately. If you notice any loose threads, simply cut them; do not pull them.
Storage: Store in a dry, well-ventilated area.
