FAQs
Are these gloves waterproof?
No, the SHIMA SONIC gloves are designed for maximum airflow and cooling, making them unsuitable for rain.

These gloves are intended for summer use and do not offer thermal insulation.
How do I check my size?
Refer to the standard SHIMA size guide by measuring the circumference of your hand just below the knuckles.
Will the touch tips work with all devices?
They are designed to work with standard capacitive touchscreens used on most modern smartphones and GPS systems.
Are the palm pads replaceable?
No, the internal foam reinforcement is integrated into the glove's construction and is not replaceable.
Troubleshooting
Touchscreen sensitivity is inconsistent
Ensure the Touch Tip fabric is clean and making direct contact with the screen; wipe the glove tip with a dry cloth to remove dirt or oil.
Gloves feel too tight during first use
The elastic inserts and materials are designed to break in slightly after a few rides; ensure the hook-and-loop fastener is fully released during the initial fitting.

Setup, Compatibility & Care
To ensure your SHIMA SONIC gloves perform correctly, follow these guidelines:
- Sizing: Ensure the fingers reach the tips without excess fabric, and the wrist closure is tightened securely for maximum protection.
- Care: Clean the exterior using a soft, damp cloth. Do not machine wash or submerge in water, as this can degrade the protective foam and leather-like materials.
- Storage: Store in a cool, dry, and well-ventilated area away from direct sunlight to prevent material aging.
- Compatibility: These gloves are compatible with most standard motorcycle grips and touchscreen devices, though performance may vary with certain thick screen protectors.
