Full details

The TP Toys Growable Adventurer Metal Climbing Frame is ideal for families looking to invest in a long-term outdoor play solution that evolves alongside their children. Its primary benefit is the adaptable modular design, which allows the frame to transition from a low-level toddler climber to a full-height adventure setup as children grow, though it does require a significant footprint and careful assembly planning to ensure safety in your garden.

FAQs

What is the recommended age range?

This frame is typically suitable for children from 18 months up to the age of 8, depending on individual development.

Can the frame stay outside all year?

The metal frame is weather-resistant, but removing the fabric canopy during winter will prolong its life.

How much space do I need?

You need a clear perimeter of at least 2 meters around the entire structure to ensure safe play.

Can I assemble this by myself?

It is highly recommended to have at least two adults for assembly due to the weight and size of the metal components.

Is the height adjustment difficult?

The adjustment system is designed for modular changes, but it does require partial disassembly and repositioning of components.

Troubleshooting

Frame feels unstable during use

Verify that all bolts are tightened correctly and ensure the frame is situated on a perfectly flat surface.

Slide feels loose at the attachment point

Check the slide connection hardware and ensure it is set to the correct length adjustment for the frame's current height.

Canopy is sagging

Ensure the tension straps or attachment points are securely fastened and re-align the canopy frame poles.

Setup, Compatibility & Care

Ensure you have a flat, level area with at least 2 meters of clearance on all sides for safety. During the assembly phase, follow the included instructions closely, specifically focusing on the hardware tightening schedule to ensure structural integrity. Compatibility with other TP Toys accessories should be verified by checking the specific model year. For maintenance, regularly inspect the frame for any signs of rust or loose bolts. It is recommended to wipe down the slide with a soft cloth and mild soapy water and to store the fabric canopy indoors during winter months or heavy storms to prevent material degradation.
