Troubleshooting
Shelves are not sitting level
Ensure that the shelf pins are inserted into the corresponding holes at the same height level on all four sides.
Drawers are difficult to slide
Check the drawer runners for any debris and ensure the unit is sitting perfectly level on the floor, as uneven flooring can cause the frame to twist slightly.
Pros and Cons
Pros
- Modular configuration allows for independent use of the hutch and sideboard
- Includes convenient, wipe-clean baskets for organized storage
- Built-in 10-bottle wine rack optimizes utility for dining areas
- Adjustable shelving accommodates diverse storage needs
- Warm, classic aesthetic fits well with various interior styles
Cons
- Height of 200cm may be restrictive for low-ceiling rooms
- Requires assembly and careful placement due to overall size
- Deep 42cm footprint may be too large for narrow hallways
Setup, Compatibility & Care
To ensure stability, the unit should be placed on a level surface. Given its height, it is recommended to use appropriate wall-mounting brackets if you have small children or pets to prevent accidental tipping. The limed acacia hardwood tops should be wiped clean with a soft, dry cloth; avoid harsh chemical cleaners that could damage the wood finish. The provided storage baskets are designed to be wipe-clean, making them easy to maintain even when used to store kitchen essentials or craft materials. When moving the unit, always disassemble the two sections first to reduce weight and prevent damage to the frame joints.
