Full details
The Lazer Finch KinetiCore Helmet in Purple is designed for young riders and adults with smaller head shapes seeking top-tier safety and comfort on trails. FAQs
What makes the KinetiCore technology special?
KinetiCore is an innovative technology that creates a crumple zone in the helmet, absorbing energy from direct and rotational impacts, thereby reducing the risk of concussion. It achieves this without the need for additional straps, making the helmet lighter.
How do I properly use the TurnSys system?
The TurnSys system is adjusted by turning the dial located at the back of the helmet. Turn it clockwise to tighten the fit and counter-clockwise to loosen it, ensuring a secure yet comfortable feel.
Is this helmet suitable for adults?
While designed with smaller head shapes in mind and optimized for youths and women, the adjustable TurnSys system can accommodate a wide range of head sizes, including some smaller adult heads.
Can I attach a different visor to this helmet?
The Finch KinetiCore comes with an integrated visor that is not designed to be replaced or swapped with aftermarket visors.
What is the benefit of the antibacterial straps?
The straps are treated with Polygiene Biostatic™ StayFresh™ technology, which inhibits the growth of odor-causing bacteria, keeping the helmet fresher for longer and enhancing comfort.
How much lighter is this helmet compared to others?
The Finch KinetiCore is approximately 12% lighter than the Lazer Chiru MIPS M CE and uses 50g less plastic, contributing to a more comfortable ride.
Where can I purchase the compatible LED light?
The Universal Lazer LED light is available for purchase through authorized Lazer dealers or online retailers that carry Lazer accessories.
Troubleshooting
Helmet feels too loose or wobbly
Adjust the Lazer TurnSys dial at the rear of the helmet counter-clockwise to tighten the fit. Ensure the helmet sits level on your head and the straps are properly secured.
Straps cause discomfort or irritation
Readjust the strap divider and the TurnSys system. Ensure the straps are flat against the skin and not twisted. If irritation persists, consider hand-washing the straps as per care instructions.
Sunglasses fit poorly or cause pressure
Utilize the eyewear-friendly recesses by adjusting how the glasses sit on your face and in the helmet. Experiment with different angles or slight adjustments to the helmet's fit.
Ventilation seems insufficient
Ensure that the brow vents are not obstructed by hair or clothing. While designed for airflow, extreme conditions may still lead to some warmth.

Setup, Compatibility & Care
Setup: The Lazer Finch KinetiCore Helmet is designed for immediate use. Adjust the internal TurnSys system by turning the dial at the rear until a snug and comfortable fit is achieved. Ensure the straps are positioned correctly under the ears and fasten the buckle securely.
Compatibility: This helmet is compatible with the Universal Lazer LED light (sold separately) for enhanced visibility. The design accommodates most standard sunglasses, with specific recesses to relieve pressure points.
Care: To clean the helmet, use a soft cloth dampened with mild soap and water. Avoid using abrasive cleaners or solvents, as they can damage the helmet's materials. The straps feature Polygiene Biostatic™ StayFresh™ technology; they can be hand-washed with mild soap and cold water and air-dried. Ensure the helmet is completely dry before storing. Store the helmet in a cool, dry place, away from direct sunlight and extreme temperatures.
