Zebra striped fly rugs are proven to repel horse flies. This rug features breathable mesh fabric offering 80% protection from UV radiation. It has a seamless neck design and is fully lined at the chest and seams to prevent rubbing. The rug is secured with twin buckle chest straps and adjustable cross surcingles. It also includes an adjustable fillet strap and a tail flap. Fly masks and fly boots are available separately. The Shires Tempest Original Zebra Fly Rug is designed using inspiration from nature and proven technology. Research indicates that the zebra print is visually unattractive to flies and biting insects, reducing the likelihood of them landing on your horse. The lightweight mesh fabric is cool, comfortable, and provides a protective physical barrier against pests and the sun's UV rays. Suitable for turnout. Care instructions: 100% Polyester. Machine wash cool with a non-detergent soap.
