Setup, Compatibility & Care
Initial Setup
- Lacing: Ensure proper lacing to achieve a snug, secure fit. Start from the bottom eyelets and pull laces firmly but not too tightly, working your way up. Double-knot for security during play.
- First Fit: When first trying them on, ensure there is a small amount of space (about a thumb's width) between your longest toe and the end of the boot. The Flyknit upper should feel like a second skin, offering a supportive yet comfortable wrap around your foot.
Compatibility
- Playing Surface: These boots are designed exclusively for Firm Ground (FG) pitches. This includes natural grass fields that are dry and firm. Using them on artificial turf (AG) or very wet/soft ground (SG) can compromise performance, damage the boots, and potentially lead to injury.
- Age Group: Designed for adult players.
- Gender: Suitable for Male and Unisex players.
Care Instructions
Proper care will extend the life and maintain the performance of your boots:
- Cleaning After Use: Immediately after each use, remove excess mud and dirt. Use a soft brush (like a toothbrush) to dislodge dirt from between the studs and around the upper. Wipe the entire boot with a damp cloth.
- Avoid Harsh Chemicals: Do not use harsh detergents, bleach, or abrasive cleaners, as these can damage the materials and finish.
- Drying: Allow the boots to air dry naturally at room temperature. Do not expose them to direct heat sources like radiators, heaters, or direct sunlight, as this can cause the materials to crack or shrink. You can stuff them with newspaper to absorb moisture and help maintain their shape.
- Storage: Store your boots in a cool, dry place, away from direct sunlight and extreme temperatures. A boot bag can protect them during transport and storage.
- Info needed: Material-Specific Care: For the Flyknit upper and tacky skin, avoid excessive scrubbing on the tacky areas to preserve their texture.
