This lightweight Torrent rug is perfect for showery warmer days, or for hardy types who just need a light coverage. It features a 600 denier ripstop, waterproof breathable outer with no polyfill and a breathable lining. It includes quick clip trigger hook chest straps, front shoulder gusset, cross-over surcingles, leg straps, and a tailguard. The fixed neck cover has twin easy “click in” buckles and strengthened surcingle guides. It is ideal for use on its own in warmer weather or as an extra layer over heavier rugs in extreme weather. All outdoor rug materials are certified waterproof. Expectations for a lightweight turnout rug as autumn/winter approaches must be realistic, as strong winds may cause the rug to blow up due to its lightweight nature, and heavy rain may run down the horse's neck and penetrate under the rug slightly if left out in very wet conditions. The rug features taped seams, ripstop, waxed stitching, a breathable cotton lining, and a waterproof 600 denier outer.
