Setup, Compatibility & Care
Setup Instructions
- Donning the Basque: Put the basque on by stepping into it or pulling it over your head. The material is designed to smooth over your torso.
- Fastening the Back: Fasten the hook-and-eye closure at the rear. Start with the loosest setting and adjust as needed for a comfortable yet sculpted fit.
- Adjusting Straps: Adjust the wide, bow-trimmed shoulder straps to ensure the cups sit correctly and provide optimal lift and support without digging into your shoulders.
- Attaching Suspenders: If using stockings, clip the four removable suspender straps to the tops of your stockings. Ensure they are evenly adjusted for comfort and appearance.
- G-String: Wear the matching G-string underneath the basque.
Compatibility
- Stockings: The removable suspenders are designed to pair with classic stockings (not included) to complete the traditional pin-up look.
Care Instructions
To maintain the delicate nature and longevity of your basque set, follow these care guidelines:
- Hand Wash Only: Due to the delicate lace, plastic boning, and specific fabric blends, hand washing in cool water with a mild detergent is highly recommended.
- Do Not Bleach: Bleaching can damage the fabric and elastic.
- Do Not Tumble Dry: High heat can distort the boning and damage the fabric. Gently squeeze out excess water.
- Air Dry Flat: Lay flat or hang to air dry away from direct sunlight or heat.
- Do Not Iron: Ironing can damage the delicate materials and boning.
- Material Composition: Lace: 92% Nylon 8% Elastane; Microfibre: 92% Polyester 8% Elastane; Cup Lining: 100% [Info needed: Cup Lining Material]; Gusset: 100% Cotton Excluding trims.
