Most users find that Clarks Wallabees fit true to size, though the suede may stretch slightly over time to accommodate the foot.
It is not recommended. The suede upper and crepe sole are best suited for dry weather to prevent staining and premature wear.
Use a damp cloth and mild soap to wipe the edges; avoid using harsh chemicals that could dissolve the rubber.
The crepe sole is an integral part of the design, and while some professional cobblers can resole them, it is a specialized service.
That is personal preference, but wearing thin cotton or wool socks can help manage moisture and keep the interior clean.
Gently pry out trapped debris with a dull tool and use a damp cloth to wipe the edges of the sole.
Use a soft-bristled suede brush to gently stroke the nap in one direction to revive the texture.
Let the shoe dry completely, then use a suede eraser or brush to gently buff the affected area.
To ensure your Wallabees last, it is recommended to apply a suede-specific protective spray before the first wear to repel dirt and light moisture. For general cleaning, use a dedicated suede brush to gently lift debris and restore the nap of the material. If the shoes become damp, allow them to air dry slowly away from direct heat sources, which can cause the suede to harden or the crepe sole to warp. When not in use, store them in a cool, dry place and use shoe trees to help the leather maintain its shape.
