This pack of T-star drive recess washer head wood screws are constructed from a durable steel, 160mm in length and come partially threaded. They have serrations for reduced driving-in torque and greater holding power and come hard synthetic coating. They're ideal for a range of DIY applications. Great fixing for woodworking attachment of counter-battens and wood based panels (e.g. suction-proof fastening of roof battens). Application • The non-threaded part must completely reach through the upper component. The washer head then pulls the upper component tighter to the lower component with each thread rotation. • Advantages of a washer head compared to a countersunk head: Better tightening of connections also of warped board. Washer head guarantees double the amount of power delivery.
