The Vans Old Skool Toddler Trainers are designed for active toddlers who need a combination of classic style and reliable support. These trainers feature the iconic silhouette scaled down for smaller feet, offering a durable rubber sole that provides excellent traction for running and playing. While these shoes are incredibly versatile and stylish in their beige and white colorway, parents should note that light-colored fabric can show dirt more easily than darker alternatives during intense outdoor play.

It is not recommended to machine wash these shoes, as it can damage the materials and the adhesive. Spot cleaning is the best way to maintain them.
Use a soft brush to remove loose dirt, then gently dab with a mixture of mild soap and water. Allow to air dry naturally.
This specific model features traditional laces. If you prefer velcro, look for the 'Old Skool V' series which is specifically designed with hook-and-loop closures.
No, these are made of standard textile/canvas materials and are not water-resistant or waterproof.
Ensure there is about a thumb's width of space between the longest toe and the front of the shoe to allow for natural growth and movement.
The Old Skool fit is generally standard, but the laces allow for some adjustability in the width of the midfoot.
Double-knot the laces or consider using elastic replacement laces for a secure, slip-on feel.
Use a magic eraser or a damp cloth with mild soap to gently buff out marks from the rubber midsole.
Check if the laces are overtightened; if the foot has outgrown the shoe, it is time to size up for proper foot development.
To ensure the longevity of your Vans, it is best to avoid machine washing as the moisture can damage the adhesives and structural components. If the shoes become dirty, spot clean the canvas or suede areas using a soft-bristled brush and a mild detergent. Air dry them away from direct heat sources to prevent the material from warping or stiffening. The size 5 fit is specific to toddlers, so ensure your child's foot is measured regularly to confirm they have room to grow. Avoid using harsh chemical cleaners, as these may discolor the beige upper.
