FAQs
Are these slides true to size?
Lacoste Serve Pin Slides are generally considered true to standard UK footwear sizing. For the most accurate fit, we recommend selecting your usual size.
Can I wear these slides in the shower or pool?
While the `rubber outsole` offers grip suitable for damp environments, these slides are designed for general casual wear, not prolonged submersion. Excessive water exposure can impact the materials over time.
What is the footbed made of?
The Lacoste Serve Pin Slides feature a `soft foam footbed` designed to provide cushioned comfort for your feet.
How do I clean my Lacoste Serve Pin Slides?
Gently wipe the strap and footbed with a damp cloth and mild soap. Rinse thoroughly with a clean, damp cloth and allow them to air dry completely away from direct heat or sunlight.
Are these slides suitable for long walks or sports?
These slides are specifically designed for 'chill-day looks' and casual relaxation. They are not engineered for athletic performance, rigorous sports activities, or providing extensive support for long-distance walking.
Do these slides offer arch support?
The `soft foam footbed` provides comfort and cushioning, but these casual slides are not specifically designed with dedicated orthopedic arch support. Individual comfort may vary.
Troubleshooting
Slides feel uncomfortable or rub against my foot.
Ensure you have the correct size. New slides may require a short break-in period. Check for any debris caught under the strap or on the footbed. If discomfort persists, consider trying a different size.
Slipping on wet surfaces.
While the `tough rubber outsole` provides good grip, no footwear is slip-proof on all wet or extremely slick surfaces. Exercise caution on very wet floors or slippery outdoor areas. These slides are not designed for extreme weather conditions.
Footbed appears dirty or discolored.
Regularly clean the `soft foam footbed` as per the care instructions. For stubborn marks, a soft brush with mild soap can be used, followed by thorough rinsing and air drying.
Metallic Croc hardware looks dull.
Gently wipe the metallic hardware with a soft, dry cloth to restore its shine. Avoid using abrasive cleaners or cloths that could scratch the surface.
