The Renato model features a tapered design which offers a sleek, narrow aesthetic. If you have particularly wide feet, you may find the fit quite snug.
It is not recommended. While the sole is durable, the suede upper is absorbent and can be damaged by water or salt stains.
Allow the mud to dry completely first, then gently brush it off with a suede brush. Do not rub while wet as this will push the dirt deeper into the fibers.
Suede is a natural material and will conform slightly to your foot shape after several wears, but it will not stretch significantly in width.
The Vibram rubber and leather combination is designed for longevity, but they can be resoled by a professional cobbler experienced in handling hybrid constructions.
Use a specialized suede brush to gently restore the nap by brushing in one direction, then lightly in the opposite direction.
Always use a long shoe horn to protect the heel counter and avoid excessive force during the initial break-in period.
Since the Renato loafers are slip-on, they are "ready to wear" out of the box, but we recommend using a shoe horn to prevent damaging the reinforced heel during entry. To ensure the suede remains in top condition, follow these care guidelines:
