Setup, Compatibility & Care
Setup: The Gul RESPONSE 32 JUNIOR wetsuit features a straightforward back-zip entry system. To put it on, lay the wetsuit flat, step into the leg openings one at a time, and pull it up smoothly. Once the legs and torso are in place, bring the suit up around your shoulders and arms, then reach back to grasp the PK stainless steel zipper pull and slide it upwards to close the suit. The Pro GlideSkin collar should sit comfortably around the neck with minimal gapping.
Compatibility: This wetsuit is designed for general watersports such as surfing, swimming, bodyboarding, and general beach play in temperate to cool water conditions. It is compatible with other watersports gear like rash vests, board shorts, and wetsuit boots if additional warmth or protection is needed.
Care: To maintain the integrity and lifespan of your wetsuit:
- Rinse: After each use, thoroughly rinse the wetsuit inside and out with fresh, cold water. This removes salt, sand, and chlorine.
- Wash: If a deeper clean is needed, hand wash the wetsuit using a mild, non-detergent soap specifically designed for neoprene. Avoid harsh chemicals, bleach, or machine washing.
- Dry: Hang the wetsuit to dry in a shaded, well-ventilated area. Avoid direct sunlight, as it can degrade the neoprene and fade the color. Do not use a tumble dryer or direct heat sources.
- Storage: Store the wetsuit loosely folded or, ideally, hung on a wide, padded hanger to prevent creases and preserve its shape. Avoid storing it in direct sunlight or extreme temperatures.
