These boots are made of leather and are water-resistant, but they are not fully waterproof. It is recommended to apply a water-repellent spray for extra protection.
Like most leather footwear, they may feel snug at first, but the leather will naturally soften and mold to your feet after a few wears.
The memory foam footbed is integrated into the design for optimal comfort, so it is not intended to be removed or replaced.
Use a damp cloth to wipe away surface dirt and follow up with a dedicated leather cleaner or conditioner.
The boots feature a standard fit; however, the soft leather upper allows for some flexibility to accommodate various foot shapes over time.
Rub a small amount of beeswax or a graphite pencil tip along the teeth of the zipper to lubricate the mechanism.
Apply a high-quality leather cream or polish to restore the sheen and nourish the material.
To ensure your Halia boots last, begin by applying a leather protector spray before your first wear to guard against moisture and dirt. When cleaning, wipe the leather with a soft, damp cloth and use a matching leather conditioner periodically to keep the material supple and prevent cracking. Store the boots in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight to preserve the color. If the boots become wet, allow them to air dry naturally away from radiators or heat sources to maintain the structural integrity of the leather.
