Setup, Compatibility & Care
To get the best fit, ensure the quick-toggle lace is adjusted to a tension that holds your midfoot securely without causing pressure points. Because the shoe features a plusher collar and soft sockliner, it should feel comfortable immediately out of the box, but taking short initial walks will allow the EVA midsole to adapt to your foot strike.
Care Instructions:
- Wipe away surface mud or dirt with a soft, damp cloth after trail use.
- Avoid machine washing or drying, as this can damage the durable water-repellent (DWR) coating and structural adhesives.
- Air dry in a cool, shaded area; keep away from direct heat sources like radiators to prevent the foam midsole from degrading.
- If the DWR treatment wears off after heavy use, consider applying a standard spray-on water repellent designed for hiking footwear to maintain protection.
