The LPD Manhattan 9L Clear Bevelled Glazed Internal Door Pair is designed for homeowners looking to create an elegant, light-filled transition between living areas without sacrificing architectural definition. Featuring a classic nine-pane design with high-quality bevelled glass, these doors excel at brightening up lounges, conservatories, and dining rooms. While the doors offer a versatile, primed white finish that serves as an excellent base for custom painting, it is important to note that the doors require professional-grade finishing and final painting after installation to achieve a lasting, durable look.

These doors are designed for internal living areas and are not recommended for high-humidity environments like bathrooms.
The doors are supplied with a factory-primed finish, but a light sanding and a fresh coat of your chosen top-quality paint are required for the best finish.
A good quality interior wood paint, such as an eggshell, satin, or gloss finish, is suitable for these doors.
All LPD glazed products are manufactured to meet UK building regulations regarding safety glass.
Trimming glazed doors is limited by the construction of the frame and the glass panels; please consult the manufacturer's specific guidelines on allowed trimming margins to avoid structural damage.
Check if the hinges are tightened properly or if the frame has shifted; minor adjustments to hinge depth can usually solve alignment issues.
Ensure the surface was lightly sanded before applying the topcoat and that a high-quality primer was used if needed for a uniform sheen.
Inspect the glass beading; it may need careful re-securing or additional glazing tape to ensure a snug fit.
Proper installation is crucial for the LPD Manhattan range. Ensure the existing door frame is perfectly square and level to prevent misalignment of the two doors. As these are supplied primed, they should not be left in their 'raw' state for too long; a final coat of paint or a durable topcoat should be applied shortly after installation to protect the wood from moisture and daily wear.
Compatibility-wise, the 1981 x 1067mm sizing is standard for many modern frames, but always measure your rough opening before purchasing. Use high-quality wood screws and hinges appropriate for the weight of glazed doors. Avoid using the doors in high-humidity areas like bathrooms, as the wood construction is intended for standard, temperate internal environments.
