These pants are designed for cold, active days on the mountain. They offer water resistance and thermal insulation, making them ideal for skiing and snowboarding in typical winter conditions.
The pants feature an adjustable zip at the hem designed to accommodate ski boots. Ensure the zipper is closed after putting the pants on over your boots for a secure fit.
Recco is an avalanche rescue system. The integrated technology helps ski resorts and mountain rescue teams locate you if you are buried in an avalanche. It requires a Recco detector, which is typically carried by rescue personnel.
The pants are made with Toray Dermizax water-resistant fabric, which provides good protection. For extremely wet or prolonged exposure to heavy precipitation, additional waterproof outerwear might be considered, but for typical snow conditions, they offer excellent protection.
The shell (80% nylon, 20% spandex) is the outer protective layer. The backing (94% polyester, 6% spandex) provides structure and support. The lining (100% polyester) is the inner layer, including recycled polyester, designed for comfort and thermal insulation.
Machine wash at 30°C with fasteners closed. Do not bleach, iron, tumble dry, dry clean, wring, or use fabric softener. Proper care is essential to maintain the fabric's performance.
Yes, they feature a thermal fleece lining made of 100% polyester (recycled) to provide warmth during cold weather activities.
Ensure the snow gaiters are properly secured with their interior silicone grip and exterior snap closures. Adjust the hem zipper if necessary for a snug fit around the boot.
Follow care instructions meticulously. Avoid fabric softeners and ensure the garment is washed correctly. Consider re-waterproofing treatments if performance significantly degrades over time, following product-specific guidelines.
Ensure the zipper is clean and free of debris. Gently work the zipper up and down. Use a graphite pencil or a specific zipper lubricant if needed, being careful not to stain the fabric.
Confirm the correct size has been selected. The 4-way stretch material offers flexibility, but ensure no underlayers are excessively bulky. The flared leg design might feel different from straight-leg pants.
Setup: These ski pants require no assembly. Simply put them on and adjust for fit.
Compatibility: Designed to be worn over ski or snowboard boots. The adjustable hem closure allows for fitting over various boot styles. The high-rise fit pairs well with ski jackets.
