The unique ingredient in these socks is the Polygiene® technology. Made with low concentrations of silver salt, which has anti-microbial properties and is naturally present in water and soil, to safely eliminate the ability for bacteria and fungi to grow. This is only active on the sock itself and does not interfere with the skin's bacterial flora. The added benefit of Polygiene® odour control will not wash out as the technology is bound and permanently integrated into the sock. The Marathon Fresh is also made with LYCRA® SPORT fibre to ensure a close, comfortable fit. Fibre Composition. 97% Polyamide, 3% Elastane (LYCRA® SPORT). Polygiene fabric solution gives the socks a permanent and effective odour elimination by inhibiting the growth of bacteria at cell level. Mid to low-level anatomical cushioning in key pressure zones for optimum comfort while keeping weight to a minimum and breathability to the max. Upper Foot Venting allows further airflow and moisture management giving ultimate comfort. Flat under toe seam construction to eliminate uncomfortable irritation, and Lycra Sport content provides a support hug to the foot to reduce folds on the fabric. High content of polyamide used in a tight seam construction gives an exceptionally durable and supportive sock.
