Regatta Maland II Waterproof Jacket - Grey - XXXL

Isotex 15000 refers to Regatta's waterproof and breathable fabric technology. The '15000' indicates a hydrostatic head rating of 15,000mm, meaning the fabric can withstand the pressure of 15,000mm of water before it starts to seep through. It also signifies a breathability rating of 15,000g/m²/24 hours, indicating how much water vapor can pass through the fabric.

The Maland II is primarily a waterproof and windproof shell jacket. It offers good protection against the elements but provides minimal insulation on its own. For very cold weather, it is recommended to layer it over warm base and mid-layers.

The technical hood typically has drawcords or adjusters around the face opening and sometimes at the back. Pulling or loosening these adjusters will allow you to cinch the hood closer to your head for a snugger, more protective fit.

Yes, the jacket can be machine washed at 30°C with a mild detergent. Avoid using fabric softeners, bleach, or tumble drying, as these can damage the waterproof and breathable properties of the fabric.

Articulated sleeves are designed with pre-bent elbow sections. This construction allows for a greater range of motion in the arms, making it easier to move freely without the jacket riding up or feeling restrictive, which is ideal for active outdoor pursuits.

To clean zippers, use a damp cloth to wipe away any dirt or salt crystals. For smoother operation, you can apply a small amount of silicone-based lubricant or beeswax to the zipper teeth.

The Durable Water Repellent (DWR) finish may need refreshing. Clean the jacket and apply a suitable re-proofing spray or wash-in treatment according to product instructions.

Gently clean the zipper teeth with a damp cloth to remove any dirt or debris. Apply a silicone-based lubricant or a bit of wax to the zipper teeth.

While the jacket is breathable, heavy exertion can lead to internal condensation. Ensure you are wearing appropriate base layers and consider opening the main zipper slightly for increased ventilation.
