The square is designed for general use and offers good accuracy. For highly precise work, double-check measurements.
Please refer to the product packaging or retailer for warranty details.
While the square has 45 and 90-degree stops, you can manually set and mark other angles using the adjustable slide.
The scale is likely etched or permanently marked for durability. Check the product specifications for exact details.
Store the square in a dry, clean place to protect it from damage and corrosion. Consider using a tool bag or case.
Check the level's vial for damage. If damaged, replace the square.
Inspect the blade and head for any damage. If damaged, replace the square. Check for debris and ensure the slide moves smoothly. Recalibrate if needed.
Clean the slide and apply a small amount of lubricant.
This tool requires no specific setup; it's ready to use straight out of the box. To maintain accuracy, store it in a clean, dry place when not in use. Regularly check the spirit level for proper function. Clean the square with a soft cloth after each use to remove dust and debris. Avoid dropping or exposing it to extreme temperatures.
