Setup, Compatibility & Care
Setup: These hiking shoes require no specific setup. They are ready to wear out of the box. Ensure you lace them appropriately for a secure and comfortable fit before embarking on your hike.
Compatibility: The Terrex Eastrail 3 is designed for compatibility with standard hiking socks. While not explicitly designed for specialized insoles, custom orthotics may fit depending on their thickness, but this could affect the shoe's intended fit and cushioning.
Care:
- Cleaning: Brush off loose dirt with a soft brush. For deeper cleaning, use a damp cloth or sponge with mild soap and cold water. Avoid harsh detergents or soaking the shoes.
- Drying: Allow the shoes to air dry naturally at room temperature. Do not place them near direct heat sources like radiators or in direct sunlight, as this can damage the materials. Stuffing them with newspaper can help absorb moisture and maintain their shape during drying.
- Storage: Store the shoes in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight when not in use.
