The Peter Storm Packable Waterproof Trousers are designed for adult hikers and travelers who need reliable, lightweight weather protection that stows away instantly. These trousers offer excellent defense against sudden rain showers, though they are primarily intended as overtrousers rather than standalone legwear due to their lightweight construction.

While they are effective at keeping water out, they are designed as a lightweight barrier. We recommend layering with moisture-wicking materials underneath.
These are designed specifically as overtrousers to be worn over your regular pants.
Simply fold or roll them tightly and insert them into the included mesh stuff sack for compact storage.
These trousers are constructed from durable, lightweight nylon.
Yes, the nylon construction provides an effective wind-blocking layer, making them useful in exposed, chilly conditions.
Since they are designed to be worn over other trousers, you should choose your standard trouser size, but consider sizing up if you plan to wear them over thick hiking layers.
The DWR coating may need refreshing; wash the trousers and apply a suitable re-proofing spray.
This is often caused by condensation buildup during high-exertion activity; ensure adequate airflow by adjusting the hem.
To ensure longevity, always shake off excess mud or debris before packing the trousers into their mesh bag. When stored, ensure they are completely dry to prevent mildew. If they become dirty, hand wash them in cool water with a mild technical cleaner. Avoid using fabric softeners, as these can compromise the waterproof coating. To restore water repellency after frequent use, you may apply a spray-on DWR (Durable Water Repellent) treatment specifically designed for nylon outdoor gear.
