Setup, Compatibility & Care
Setup: Begin by measuring your window and determining the appropriate mounting points for the brackets. Ensure you have the necessary tools, such as a drill, screwdriver, and spirit level. Mount the brackets securely to the wall using appropriate fixings for your wall type (e.g., plasterboard, brick). Once the brackets are in place, slide the curtain pole through the eyelets of your curtain and rest it on the brackets. Secure the pole if necessary using any provided locking screws. Finally, attach the finials to the ends of the pole.
Compatibility: This curtain pole is specifically designed for use with eyelet curtains. The 28mm diameter is suitable for most standard eyelet curtains. It is important to ensure the pole's fixed length is appropriate for your window size. For wider windows, consider using multiple poles with additional support brackets or exploring extendable options.
Care: To maintain the sleek gold finish, clean the curtain pole periodically with a soft, dry cloth. For tougher marks, use a slightly damp cloth and then dry immediately. Avoid using abrasive cleaners or harsh chemicals, as these can damage the finish. Ensure the pole remains securely mounted and periodically check fixings for any looseness.
