The O'Neill Script Slides are waterproof and ideal for casual wear around pools and beaches. They are not designed for high-impact water sports or activities requiring significant athletic support.
How do I determine my size?
Refer to the standard sizing chart for O'Neill footwear. These slides tend to run true to size. The wide strap offers a secure fit once the correct size is chosen.
Can I wear these slides for long walks?
Yes, the cushioned footbed with arch support makes them comfortable for casual walking and everyday wear. However, for very long distances or activities requiring substantial support, dedicated walking shoes might be more appropriate.
How do I clean the slides?
Wipe them with a damp cloth. Avoid harsh chemicals or abrasive materials to maintain the integrity of the material and the embossed logo.
Are these slides available in other colors?
Yes, the O'Neill Script Slides are available in other colors, such as Pink. Please check the product listing for available color options.
What is the main benefit of the wide strap?
The wide strap is designed to provide a more secure and stable fit, helping to keep the slides comfortably in place on your feet, especially when wet.
Can these be used as shower slides?
Yes, their waterproof design and easy-to-clean nature make them suitable for use as shower slides in locker rooms or at home.
Troubleshooting
Slides feel too tight or loose
Ensure you have selected the correct size. The wide strap is designed for a secure fit, but if discomfort persists, consider if the slides are appropriate for your intended activity level. They are best for casual wear.
Material feels stiff after getting wet
Allow the slides to air dry completely away from direct sunlight or heat. Stiffness usually subsides once fully dry. Ensure they are cleaned with a damp cloth and not soaked in water for extended periods.
Logo detail is fading
Avoid prolonged exposure to direct sunlight or harsh cleaning agents. Wipe gently with a damp cloth for cleaning. The embossed nature of the logo offers some durability, but excessive friction or chemical exposure can affect its appearance.
