While they are comfortable, they are specifically engineered for performance running and may not provide the stability or comfort required for casual daily walking.
No, these are designed for paved road and track surfaces. The outsole lacks the deep lugs and protective elements needed for technical trails.
Like all performance racing shoes, the lifespan depends on usage intensity, but typically users should look for signs of midsole compression or outsole wear after 200-300 miles.
The Metaspeed Edge+ series is available in various colorways, but the current variant featured is the Diva Pink with White accents.
While they are ready for action out of the box, it is recommended to take them for a few short, fast-paced runs before using them in a competitive race.
The Metaspeed Edge+ is designed for high-speed mechanics. Ensure you are using them for faster-paced workouts where the shoe geometry can fully engage.
Performance shoes often have a tighter fit. If you find the 6.5 UK too snug, consider checking if you need to adjust lacing techniques or verify if a half-size up is appropriate for your foot shape.
Before your first run, ensure the fit is snug but comfortable, especially since performance trainers often run slightly tighter than standard footwear. To maintain the integrity of the specialized foam and upper materials, avoid machine washing or drying. Clean the exterior with a soft brush and mild soap, then air dry away from direct heat sources. Store your shoes in a cool, dry place to prevent premature breakdown of the midsole cushioning.
