Setup, Compatibility & Care
Setup
Your Puma Turino II SD Trainers require minimal setup. Simply unbox them, unlace them if necessary, and slide your feet in. Adjust the laces to achieve a comfortable and secure fit that supports your foot without being too tight.
Compatibility
These trainers are highly compatible with a wide range of casual and semi-casual apparel. The versatile grey colour makes them suitable for:
- Bottoms: Jeans, chinos, shorts, track pants, and even some casual trousers.
- Tops: T-shirts, polo shirts, casual button-downs, hoodies, and light jackets.
- Seasons: Ideal for spring, summer, and autumn wear. While they can be worn in winter, they do not offer specific insulation or waterproofing for harsh conditions.
Care
Proper care will extend the life and maintain the appearance of your trainers:
- Cleaning: For general dirt and scuffs, use a soft brush or damp cloth with a small amount of mild soap (e.g., dish soap diluted in water). Gently scrub the affected areas, then wipe clean with a separate damp cloth. Avoid harsh chemicals or abrasive materials.
- Drying: Air dry your trainers at room temperature. Do not expose them to direct sunlight or use artificial heat sources like radiators or tumble dryers, as this can damage the materials.
- Storage: Store your trainers in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight when not in use. You can use shoe trees to help maintain their shape.
- Odour Control: If odours develop, remove the insoles and air them out. Shoe deodorizers or baking soda can also be used inside the trainers overnight.
