Setup, Compatibility & Care
Setup
Upon receiving your adidas Terrex Anylander Mid RAIN.RDY Hiking Shoes, simply unlace them, slip your foot in, and adjust the lace closure to achieve a snug, comfortable fit. The gusseted tongue will help ensure a secure fit and keep debris out. We recommend wearing your preferred hiking socks to properly assess the fit and comfort.
Compatibility
These shoes are designed for a variety of hiking environments. They are compatible with:
- Light to Moderate Trails: Including dirt paths, gravel, and mixed forest floors.
- Wet Conditions: Ideal for rainy weather or trails with puddles, thanks to RAIN.RDY technology.
- Varied Terrain: The Traxion outsole performs well on both dry and slightly wet, uneven surfaces.
They are not designed for extreme mountaineering, rock climbing, or deep water submersion.
Care
Proper care will extend the life and maintain the performance of your hiking shoes:
- Cleaning: After each use, remove loose dirt and debris using a soft brush or cloth. For stubborn stains, mix a small amount of mild soap with water and gently scrub the textile upper. Avoid harsh chemicals.
- Drying: Allow shoes to air dry naturally at room temperature. Do not place them near direct heat sources (like radiators or in direct sunlight) as this can damage materials and adhesives.
- Storage: Store your shoes in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight. Ensure they are completely dry before storing to prevent odor and mildew.
- Inspection: Regularly inspect the Traxion outsole for embedded debris that could affect grip and the upper for any signs of wear or damage to the reinforced toe cap.
