Yes, it is designed to follow standard UK dress sizing, though it is recommended to check your measurements against the size 14 fit if you are between sizes.
Absolutely. It pairs perfectly with thermal tights or leggings, making it a viable option for colder weather when styled with boots.
Solid-colored tops, such as black, cream, or navy sweaters, work best to prevent the outfit from looking too busy.
Store it on a skirt hanger with clips to prevent deep creases, or lay it flat in a drawer away from direct sunlight.
It is advised to follow the care label inside the garment. If in doubt, dry cleaning is the safest method to ensure longevity.
Hang the skirt in a steamy bathroom for several minutes to allow light moisture to relax the fibers, or use a handheld garment steamer on a low heat setting.
Avoid contact with rough surfaces and sharp jewelry. If a thread pulls, do not cut it; instead, use a needle to carefully pull the thread back through to the inside of the fabric.
To ensure the skirt remains in top condition, always consult the internal care label for specific fabric requirements. Generally, dry cleaning is recommended to preserve the shape and color of the plaid pattern. If hand washing is specified as an option, use a mild detergent in cool water and lay the garment flat to dry to prevent stretching or distortion. For compatibility, this skirt works best with tucked-in tops or bodysuits to highlight the waistline and maintain the clean lines of the cut.
