The Regatta Calderdale III Hooded Waterproof Jacket is designed for active kids who need reliable protection during outdoor adventures in unpredictable weather. Its key benefit is the waterproof and breathable Isotex 15000 fabric, ensuring comfort and dryness. A potential caveat to consider is that while durable, excessive abrasion might eventually impact the waterproof membrane over extended periods of rigorous use. This jacket offers a blend of weatherproofing, breathability, and durability, making it suitable for school runs, weekend walks, and general exploration.

Isotex 15000 indicates the fabric can withstand a hydrostatic head of 15,000mm of water, offering excellent protection in wet conditions.
The Calderdale III is primarily a waterproof and breathable shell jacket. It does not have built-in insulation but is designed to be worn over layers for warmth.
Refer to the brand's sizing guide for children's UK sizes to ensure the best fit. It's recommended to consider room for layering underneath.
Yes, it can be worn year-round. In colder months, layer with warm clothing underneath. In warmer, wet weather, it provides essential protection without overheating.
Waterproof means the fabric is designed to prevent water penetration entirely, typically with taped seams and a membrane. Water-resistant means it can repel light rain for a short period but will eventually soak through.
Re-apply DWR treatment when you notice water no longer beads on the fabric surface, typically after several washes or extensive use.
The DWR finish may have worn off. Re-apply a suitable DWR treatment after washing and drying according to product instructions.
The breathability may be compromised. Ensure the jacket is clean and free from detergent residue. Wash with a specific technical wash and re-rinse thoroughly.
Gently clean the zipper teeth with a damp cloth. Apply a small amount of wax or a silicone-based lubricant to the teeth.

This jacket requires no assembly. It is ready to wear straight out of the packaging.
