Full details

The Ugg Lowmel Trainers are designed for active kids who need a reliable, stylish, and comfortable shoe for everyday wear. These trainers feature a unique combination of hook-and-loop closures and fixed laces, ensuring a secure fit while making it simple for children to put them on independently. While they offer exceptional comfort through a molded rubber sole, it is important to note that the polyester exterior requires consistent care to maintain its appearance compared to more rugged, non-porous materials.

FAQs

Are these shoes machine washable?

It is recommended to hand-wash using a damp cloth rather than using a washing machine, which can damage the structure of the trainer.

What is the primary material used?

The exterior of this specific model is constructed from durable polyester.

Are these suitable for wide feet?

The design is standard; however, the hook-and-loop strap allows for a degree of adjustability.

Can the laces be replaced?

The laces are fixed for stability and aesthetic purposes and are not intended to be replaced.

Is this shoe water-resistant?

While the polyester provides some protection, it is not waterproof; avoid wearing in heavy rain or deep puddles.

Troubleshooting

Difficulty securing the hook-and-loop strap

Check the strap for lint or debris build-up and use a clean brush to clear the fibers.

Shoes feel slightly tight after long wear

Ensure that the fixed laces are not cinched too tightly and allow the feet to breathe by loosening the straps.

Pros and Cons

Stylish design works well for school or casual outings
Secure fit provided by the combination of laces and straps

Setup, Compatibility & Care

To ensure the longevity of your Ugg Lowmel Trainers, keep the following in mind:

Fit Check: Ensure the size UK 2 fits with a small amount of wiggle room for the toes.
Cleaning: Gently wipe the polyester upper with a damp, soft cloth using a mild soap solution. Avoid using harsh chemical cleaners that may discolor the fabric.
Drying: Air dry the trainers in a cool, shaded area away from direct heat sources like radiators, which can warp the rubber sole.
Storage: Store in a cool, dry place when not in use to prevent moisture buildup within the fabric.
