The Hotter Sprite is made of suede, which is naturally water-resistant but not waterproof. We recommend using a water-repellent spray for added protection.
Yes, they generally fit true to standard UK sizing, though the suede material may soften and stretch slightly with regular wear.
The Cushion+ technology is integrated into the footbed for optimal support, so replacing the insoles is not recommended.
Use a suede brush for routine maintenance and a suede eraser for light stains. Keep them away from harsh chemical cleaners.
The material's flexibility allows for a comfortable fit for many foot shapes, though if you have specific orthotic needs, it is best to try them on to ensure the ankle height works for you.
Ensure no fabric or debris is caught in the zipper track; rubbing a small amount of paraffin wax or a pencil lead along the teeth can help lubricate the mechanism.
Use a suede eraser to remove spot stains and follow up with a soft-bristled suede brush to restore the texture.
To keep your Hotter Sprite boots in top condition, proper care is essential. Since these are often made of suede, it is highly recommended to apply a suede-specific water repellent spray before the first use to guard against moisture and stains. Avoid submerging the boots in water. For cleaning, use a dedicated suede brush to gently lift dirt and maintain the nap of the material. If the boots become wet, allow them to air dry naturally away from direct heat sources, such as radiators, to prevent the material from cracking or warping.
