Yes, they are designed as all-terrain shoes and perform very well on pavement.
It is generally recommended to replace them every 300 to 500 miles, depending on the intensity of your usage and the surface types.
Use a soft brush to remove loose dirt and a damp cloth with mild detergent for spot cleaning. Allow them to air dry.

Yes, the insoles are removable and can be replaced with custom orthotics if required.
Try adjusting your lacing pattern to be looser in the midfoot area or use a 'window lacing' technique to relieve pressure.
Ensure the tongue is centered and pull the laces firm; if trail conditions are very loose, consider using external gaiters.
Check the mileage on the shoes; foam life typically degrades after 300-500 miles depending on running surface and intensity.
To ensure the best performance, check that your Hoka Challenger 8 is sized correctly, allowing for a thumbnail's width of space at the front of the toe box. When cleaning, avoid machine washing; instead, wipe down the jacquard mesh with a damp cloth and mild soap. Remove the insoles to air-dry naturally away from direct heat sources, such as radiators, which can warp the foam midsole and degrade the adhesive bonding.
