Setup, Compatibility & Care
To maximize the life of your jacket, ensure the inner and outer layers are securely zipped together using the attachment points at the collar and cuffs. When cleaning, always follow the care label instructions; generally, technical fabrics like ISOTEX benefit from being washed with specialized non-biological cleaners to maintain their waterproof performance. Avoid using fabric softeners, as these can clog the pores of the breathable membrane. Periodically check the hem and cuff toggles to ensure they are free of debris. If the garment loses its 'beading' effect on the surface, a DWR (Durable Water Repellent) re-proofing spray can be applied to the outer shell after a wash to restore water-shedding capabilities.
