The Fox Racing Ranger Short with liner is designed for female mountain bikers who require a versatile garment that transitions seamlessly from technical trails to casual settings. The key benefit of these shorts is the combination of high-performance 4-way stretch ripstop fabric and an integrated liner, providing both durability and comfort during long rides; however, potential users should note that the specialized fit is tailored specifically for cycling performance, which may feel distinct from standard street wear.

Yes, this model includes an integrated liner with a chamois pad for riding comfort.
Yes, the liner is designed to be removable if you wish to use the shell shorts with different gear.
The sizes follow standard women's UK dress sizing. Refer to the specific measurements if you are between sizes, as the shorts have a slim, performance-oriented cut.
The zippered hand pockets are intended for small essentials; depending on the size of your phone, it may be a tight fit.
The fabric is water-resistant thanks to the DWR finish, but it is not fully waterproof.
It is recommended to hang dry these shorts to preserve the elastic stretch panels and the performance coatings.
Check the mechanism for trapped dirt or debris and clear it out, or ensure the strap is fully clicked into the locking gate.
The DWR finish has likely worn off; wash the garment to remove oils and dirt, then apply a DWR spray treatment to restore water repellency.
Ensure the liner is pulled up correctly and is positioned properly against the skin; consider using an anti-chafing balm for long-distance rides.
To ensure the longevity of your Ranger shorts, fasten all zippers and closures before washing. Machine wash on a cold, gentle cycle using a mild detergent; avoid fabric softeners, as they can degrade the DWR coating. Hang to dry whenever possible to maintain the integrity of the stretch panels. The shorts are compatible with standard mountain bike gear and pair perfectly with other Fox Racing jerseys and trail equipment. If the DWR finish begins to lose effectiveness over time, you may apply a specialized fabric re-waterproofing treatment.
